Probably not as they would be in a state of shock themselves at winning a seat and what would the poor candidate do? "What do you mean I've been elected? Damn that means I've got to actually go to Parliament!"

I could be wrong but IIRC Screaming Lord Such, who was for a long while their most prominent member said something about if he was ever elected he would immediately resign, or possibly it was just refuse to take his seat in Parliament.

Because unlike the EU most people in Britain don't consider themselves as property.
