Seeing your map's "Obama is from here!!!" thing reminded me of a Terry Pratchett quote; "Multiple exclamation marks are a sign of a diseased mind". Did not know that Obama was from Britain as Africa has the same color as the United kingdom on the map. |

Oh wow, I seem to run into quite a few of these  ! Here's one of the worst ones I've seen recently:  (Source: people.uwec.edu/ivogeler/w188/utopian/mormon-mapUT.jpg)Three things wrong with this: 1) It lacks a consistent colour scheme. Better to use shades of one colour (or, at least, a gradient between two colours). 2) The categories are completely arbitrary. Why do they have "40-63", and then "64-73"  ? 3) Comic Sans = DIE |

You mean its not!  
Seriously that image seems to suggest that there are multiple copies of all the continents, both on the inside and outside of the doughnut. Although possibly they don't actually mean that but are using something based on the actual layout of the continents for simplicity.
On the flat earth idea if that professor can find 400 passages in the bible contradicting both a round Earth or a flying one [by which I assume he means one floating in space] that says a lot about him and/or the bible.
