The dragon who referred to the Pyramids would be considered quite old, even by draconic standards.

I don't think I've mentioned him in any military contexts so far, looking through my notes; 1961's BBC political talk show host Trecandrius is mentioned as being one of four dragons serving in the initial wars on Mars in the 1880s, but not Aurancardius the Golden.

He has seen battle in some human wars, though; a long, long time ago.
