What about 'WI: Unregulated Internet?'. If this thread is allowed on the forum, which space is the most appropriate for it to go in? Thank you in advance, Zyobot Depends on what you mean with Unregulated Internet, something like a Dark web ore a no rules internet. The latter option, a no-rules internet. I'd imagine it'd go in either Future History or ASB, maybe even Politics and Current Affairs because--even though I don't see it emerging any time soon--it might still interweave into modern issues that aren't to be deeply discussed anywhere else. |

Depends on what you mean with Unregulated Internet, something like a Dark web ore a no rules internet. The latter option, a no-rules internet. I'd imagine it'd go in either Future History or ASB, maybe even Politics and Current Affairs because--even though I don't see it emerging any time soon--it might still interweave into modern issues that aren't to be deeply discussed anywhere else. Can you give me a example. Sure. Some specific narratives we'd in all likelihood wind up discussing might include the processes behind how historians made the Gilded Age into a cohesive time bloc--what information they gathered, their methodology, etcetera ad infinitum. |

It'd involve a roughly region-sized area of walking, talking, sentient Pokemon from a parallel universe who have built up a futuristic cyberprep civilization being sent to the Pokemon World of the main continuity(s). Perhaps I might even create a TL about this, if it's approved. Truly, though, I do wonder how humans--namely trainers and gym leaders, not to mention governments--would react to the arrival of a society created and run by Pokemon who live a lot like they do. Would this proposed thread idea be acceptable? |

In case my initial meaning was unclear, I'm referring to a futuristic, post-Industrial society run by talking Pokemon from another world getting ISOTed into the anime setting--leading to them encountering the humans and their less intelligent domesticated Pokemon, and all that that implies. |
