How about 'Could Red China Become A Modern Nazi Germany?' My first impulse is that it belongs in 'Future History', though it also has somewhat currently political undertones to it, so I'm not sure. Due some events happening in China at present day, the best would be Politics and Current Affairs. |

Due some events happening in China at present day, the best would be Politics and Current Affairs. Had a feeling you’d say that, thanks. It’s certainly not my wish, but I fear that current trajectories could cause China to become the worst possible version of itself within my lifetime—just as Germany did in the aftermath of the First World War, if things get particularly grim.  |

Not a thread idea this time, but since I'm posting, would it be alright to share Isaac Arthur videos in the 'General Space Exploration Thread'? He doesn't really touch upon current politics, and his content is plenty applicable to taming the Final Frontier. |
