What about a 'How Will People See Contemporary Media A Few Decades From Now'? On the one hand, it seems intuitively best fit for somewhere like 'Future History'. But on the other, depending on what direction discourse is steered in, it may be too political charged for anywhere but 'Politics and Current Affairs'. Think Politics and Current Affairs is the place to be for this kind of thread. |

This isn't a specific thread proposal so much as a question pertaining to a category of them, but I'm wondering if something like an 'ASB DBWI' would be acceptable here? For example, maybe I start one from the perspective of a world in which we earthlings live and are accustomed to mysterious aliens spying on us all the time, asking what it'd be like if we knew nothing about it (which, potentially barring governments, is true for OTL)?

What about a 'Less Concentrated Media Ownership' thread, due to how at least in the US, a handful of big corporate entities own the overwhelming majority of mass media?
