In addition to the fact that this question still stands, what about a 'Why Do Economic Recessions Happen So Often?' thread? I've noticed that tendency throughout my online research, and me knowing little about the ins and outs of economics or the policies thereof, I'm curious to glean some insights from those more knowledgeable than myself on that topic. |

Because due to how dichotomous people’s minds tend to be, I fear that there could be a secret army of extreme reactionaries getting ever closer to spurring a fascist uprising if Maduro doesn’t step down. |

In addition to having the industrial and technological capabilities to mass-produce nukes, the Soviets also would've no doubt deployed spies to uncover the West's secrets. Making it so that they're never successful in this endeavor just seemed way too out-there to me. |

I suppose that 'Possible Future Third-Party Presidents', which is exactly like it sounds, would belong in 'Politics and Current Affairs'? Given its politically charged nature (i.e. definite discussion of the rather dichotomous American party system right now), I assume that discourse would be too heavily sanitized if it were placed in the 'Future History' board.
