Possibly; that's an idea that I haven't thought of myself. However, I worry that such a thread would get heated as members vigorously debate which candidates are most/least fit to move onto further stages of this cross-time presidential race. Maybe it could go in Politics and Current Affairs, then? That would be a good idea, also limit it to all presidents before 2016, thus not involving current politics who are complex and heated enough already. What if this thread were to go up much later, in maybe a few decades at least? By then, I'm hoping that global politics cools down enough for us to calmly and civilly discuss modern-day US Presidents in a non-Politics and Current Affairs context--including in the thread idea that we're discussing right now.

You mean, create this thread in a year of 10 ore 20, i wonder if this forum will still be around.

In that case, if someone were to start on a 'Cross-Time Presidential Race' thread now, we'd best go with pre-2016 candidates as you've said. Also, what about a Warhammer 40K thread discussing whether Chaotic Necrons could emerge or not, and the implications of that happening if the answer is yes?

I'm referring to throughout the Warhammer 40K setting (a.k.a. the Milky Way Galaxy) as a whole. To perhaps better rephrase my initial idea, it's whether or not Necrons could be corrupted by Chaos?

Or does it belong in Frivolous Fandom and/or The Miscellaneous Warhammer Thread?

What about 'What Would A Galactic Civilization Look Like?'
I'd assume it goes in the Future History thread, assuming that it's not too hard to at least speculate how such a society would look.

How about 'Most/Least Scientifically Plausible Creatures In Fiction?' That, I assume, would go in the Fandom section if it weren't too frivolous.
