Pick your fav POD and Bob Dole is narrowly elected President in 1996.
Among other things, how does America take it's first non-hidden (unlike FDR et al) disabled president?

What was Bob Dole's disability?
Also, in regards to Bob Dole as U.S. President, I wonder if we'll see something similar to the Bush tax cuts several years earlier. Also, does Dole run again in 2000? After all, he'd be 77 in 2000.

Bob Dole was permanently disabled by injuries in the Second World War. Oh. I certainly never noticed this. The more you know, eh?

I think Dole serves only one term and it's Kemp vs. Gore in 2000
