Interesting. I never realised it was rat free. Been a dramatic success by the sound of it. 
How long that can continue to be the case I don't know because unless British Columbia and Montana are also free there's the danger of infection from those directions as well. [Thinking that BC could suffer infection via shipping trade to its ports and rats spread that way.

Given that they've been doing this since the fifties I'd reckon they have a way to deal with that sort of thing. |
