The Known Galaxy is a future-based world building project I'm working on at a site called World Anvil. It's a hard science-fiction reality, set nearly 11,000 years into the future, where thousands of star systems host growing human civilizations. There have been a few major updates since I last posted. First thing, is that it's no longer an omniscient encyclopedia, but written as if it was made by and for citizens of an entity known as the Federation of Kartika. Other than changes to the main page, I added the Kartika-Ganas star system in which this Federation resides, their most populous planet – Vall. Also, most importantly, I have developed a timekeeping and calendar system for the Federation. All events will be dated by this calendar, and any mention of the passage of years will be Kartikan years. |

UpdateAdded an article on the Federation of Kartika. The capital. And the Head of State. Also, if you check the Kartika-Ganas page, you will notice that I have named all of the planets in the system. I haven't added a page on all of them, but they have names.
