In the running for a US Senate seat in New York during 2000, Rudi Giuliani was running at first against Hilary Clinton.
Four mad weeks - diagnosis of prostate cancer, revelation of his affair and his wife leaving him - saw him drop out of the race. Congressman Lazio ran in his stead and lost to the First Lady.
Can Rudy avoid the public meltdown he had and all the negative publicity - maybe events happen post election that November - and then go onto win the election?
What happens to Hilary's political career after that?
