Actually, plenty of people have personal computers nowadays. According to Statista, the number of smartphone users is projected to be 2.87 billion by 2020, and the total for internet-connected devices will be 75.44 billion by 2025.
Apple manufactures computer stuff, but Commodore went defunct in 1994. Sorry.

Their stock is currently priced at $217.58, as of 4:03 PM on August 17, 2018.

Who is the president? How well does Reagan do? Is Bush really going to be President after him?

Who is the president? How well does Reagan do? Is Bush really going to be President after him? I apologize for the wait, I can answer your questions now. First off, President Reagan serves 2 terms--from 1981 to 1989, in all. I don't know much about the ins-and-outs of his policies, and current opinions on Reagan seem rather mixed among intellectuals, I'm afraid. But he's become an icon of today's Republican Party, nonetheless. Second, Bush does succeed POTUS after Reagan, yes. In fact, his son--George W Bush (or "Dubya")--serves as President from 2001 to 2009. He's a rather controversial one, at this point. Saving the best surprise for last, the 45th President--elected in 2016--is none other than the man, the myth, the one-and-only legend: Donald Trump. upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/5/56/Donald_Trump_official_portrait.jpg

I'd like to ask a few questions about Iran - and, in particular, about what happened there last year: - What happened to this new 'Islamic Republic'? Did the Shah ever get back into power there?
- What about the 52 American diplomats who have been held hostage there since last year? Did they ever get out safely?
- America and Iran have always been very close allies, but obviously that relationship has completely collapsed over the past year. Are Iran and America on friendly terms again?

I'm afraid to report that the US's relationship with Iran is..strained, in a word.
For starters, the Islamic Republic survives to the present day and is ruled by a Supreme Leader. The Iranians particularly dislike the United States to this day for its involvement in medically treating the Shah. The dislike is so profound that the US is sometimes referring to as the "Great Satan". So no, the two nations are not on good terms at the moment and likely won't be anytime soon.
While the Iranian Hostage Crisis was eventually resolved, this happened under newly-elected President Ronald Reagan just hours after his inaugural address on January 21, 1981; Jimmy Carter's perceived inability to negotiate the hostages' release helped cost him re-election. The fact that he launched a failed military rescue of the hostages called Operation: Eagle Claw in 1980 did nothing to mitigate that.

Sad to see . On another note, Zimbabwe finally achieved independence earlier this year, after a lengthy civil war. How do things turn out there?

Malcolm Fraser's been Prime Minister of Australia since Gough Whitlam was dismissed five years ago. Does he lose office in this year's election? if not, how long did he end up lasting?

I have to admit, I really liked this thread, and it'd be nice if someone else could take it over if Zyobot is no longer interested. I'd hate for it to just die!
