Fascinating, both in the role of the Philippines in the war and also how quickly the UN was able to act in that incident. Also the close relationship that seems to have developed between the Philippines and S Korea.
Even with the fact that the Soviets were boycotting the UN at the time, an error their never repeated  , its spectacular that they were able to pass the 1st resolution calling for a N Korean withdrawal, on the 1st day of the attack.

And some of them like BRP Cebu (PS-28) who was transferred to the Philippine Navy in July 1948 still are in active service, you do not see that in many countries.  |
