So this question is primarily for people who were alive and old enough to understand what they were seeing in the 1980's but anyone can comment. Below are posted the nuclear attack scenes from each movie. Please comment.

For me although close I would say Threads, possibly because you see a bit more of reaction of people in more detail and the collapse of the fall-back services. Also possibly being British its simply a bit closer to home and I can identify with the people and places more.

Despite being British with the identification issues, I still think that The Day After does it better. There is just something about those blasts which had a bigger effect on me than in Threads.
