In the 1950s Elvis did a stint in the army. How would his life and pop music been differently if he never returned to music.. Doubt he would stay in the army, being a rockstar had to many benefits for him. |

Agreed, He was conscripted, although proud to serve but with his popularity and a young family I can't see him wanting to stay longer. Not to mention his wider family and manager.
