  Gods it was that long ago.  Reminding me how old I'm getting.

  Interesting.  As it says it assumes that the Pakistani tactical nukes aren't one point safe which means a conventional attack can trigger their initiation.  Hopefully that isn't the case but it depends on how well their designed and constructed and given the mentioned Pakistani nuclear doctrine and the general tension between the two nations there is definite chances of a crisis escalating into even a limited, let alone a full out nuclear exchange.  I remember being very worried in the 1990's when both countries were doing competitive nuclear testing and it looked like things could stumble into some sort of shooting war.

  Interesting set of videos.  I take it the 2nd is a CNN report on the 1st, which actually gives some details of the damage while the 1st only gives background to how its set up to estimate effects.  Very interesting ideas on how such a capacity could be used to research many problems and projects.

  The 3rd video lacks any suggestion about what might be done to prevent such a scenario but does highlight that the most damage of such an attack could come from what happens afterwards so the social and economic results can be devastating, even if there are no further bombs held by the terrorists.
