May 1st

- At the White House, like all the previous presidential families, the Haslam family officially presented their presidential pet that is a Puggle they named Cynthia.

- CAAOPFD forces help with US troops and besiege the city of Mazar-I-Sharif while they begin to clear the area surrounding Herat of Taliban Forces

- Secretary of State Bob Corker meets with Dutch Mark Rutte. They both discuss the war on Terror, Russia, Trade, and NATO expansion.

- President Haslam swears in Newly Elected Senators Mike Huckabee (R-AR), Carol Blood (R-NE), and Thomas Beadle (R-ND)

May 2nd

- US Troops joins the Iraq army that is sieging Al Qa’im

- President Haslam campaigns for Doug Ducey in Arizona

- Vice President Rubio campaigns for Jan Angel in Washington’s 3rd Congressional District

- 7-12,000 US Troops are sent to South Korea, though the reason for it is unknown. There are also reports that the Chinese have sent several thousand troops.

May 3rd

- Al Qa’im is secured by the coalition

- The Kazakh military retakes Taldykorgan while the armies of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan begins to prepare for an offensive to liberate any and all holdings from Hizb Ut-Tahrir in their countries

- Vice President Rubio campaigns for Doug Ducey in Arizona

- President Haslam campaigns for Jan Angel in Washington’s 3rd Congressional district

- Secretary of State Corker ends his Western European allies tour by visiting Berlin, Germany and having a meeting with German Chancellor Angela Merkel. They both discuss the war on Terror, Russia, Trade, and NATO expansion.

- The House votes 310 YAY to 125 NAY for the MIM Act and is later signed into law by President Haslam, thus ending monopolies like Comcast, Google, or AT&T and their control of Cable and Internet.

May 4th

- President Haslam swears in the newly Elected Senator Doug Ducey (R-AZ) and Representatives Jan Angel (R-WA), Mike Cambrell (R-SC), and Beth Mizell (R-LA) into their new seats

May 5th

- The Area around Herat is liberated of all Taliban forces

May 6th

- Congress votes yes on issuing sanctions on Pakistan and thus, until the 23 Taliban soldiers are given to Coalition forces

May 7th

- Marie Le Pen squeaks out a win over Emmanuel Macron with 52% of the vote to Macron’s 48% of the vote.

- The Coalition forces target the remaining ISIS Territory in Northern Iraq just above Mosul. This offensive is critical because Intelligence reveals that Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi may be in the region.

- President Haslam congratulates Marine Le Pen on her win in the French Presidential Election

- The Senate votes in favor of the Requiring Reporting of Online Terrorist Activity Act that would require reporting if companies happen to notice online terrorist activity, encourage information sharing between the federal government and the private sector to adequately respond to cyber threats, while maintaining privacy protections, use American power to respond harshly to international cyber attacks on American citizens, businesses, and governments. The vote in the House is set next week on May 13.

May 8th

- The Peshmerga defeats ISIS in Al Ba’Aj

- President Haslam and French President-elect Marine Le Pen speak by telephone and arrange to meet in Paris on May 24, one day before the NATO summit scheduled for 25 May in Brussels, Belgium.

- Secretary of Defense Mattis visits Copenhagen, to meet with representatives from 15 countries leading the campaign against ISIS. Mattis also meets Danish Minister of Defense Claus Hjort Frederiksen to discuss European security and NATO alliance, and Prime Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen to re-affirm the close ties between Denmark and the U.S.

May 9th

- Vice President Rubio delivers a speech at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington D.C., calling for ISIS attacks on Christians, mainstream Muslims, Kurds and other groups to be labeled "genocide".

- Secretary of State Corker signs an agreement that expands the sharing of intelligence between the United States and Georgia.

- In an effort to relaunch America's Space Industry as well as U.S. space exploration, Republican Florida Senator Dwayne Johnson introduces the SPACE Act of 2017 that would abolish government regulations on space commercialization, incentivize the private sector to develop space technology by promoting partnership between NASA and private spaceflight companies like SpaceX, Shackleton Energy Company, Space Adventures, Ltd., Planetary Resources, Deep Space Industries and by extending tax credits and exemptions for those businesses investing in research and development, equipment and other capital in order not only to create new jobs in the space industry but also to develop a plan that will would encourage job creation in the space industry, the development of a plan to ensure the success of a manned space missions on the Moon or Mars by 2030, promote space commercialization through the exploitation of spatial resources and raw materials to accelerate job creation. The vote in the Senate is set on May 16.

- In response to the recent sanctions from the UN, President Erdogan of Turkey announces that Northern Cyprus will be Militarized as a Turkish protectorate.

May 10th

- President Haslam issues Executive Order 13777 to double permits and licenses for drilling on Federal lands and in Federal waters in order to encourage further job creation as well as the acceleration of America's path to energy independence.

H- In Caracas, Venezuela, tens of thousands of protesters walked in the streets of Caracas, blaming the Maduro regime for for the contribution of the recent embargo imposed by the United States on Venezuelan oil and speaking in favor of Washington's actions. During an interview with the journalists, one of the protesters even stated that “President Bill Haslam's leadership will restore freedom and democracy in Venezuela, thus clearing the way for the restoration of Venezuela's prosperity.”

- Mazar-i-sharif is liberated by Coalition forces and the area surrounding it almost completely cleared of Taliban forces, thus killing off the Taliban as an effective fighting force for the time being.

- Secretary of State Corker attends an Arctic Council meeting in Fairbanks, Alaska

May 11th

- The U.S. troops as well as the Iraqi Army, the Peshmerga and the British troops vanquished ISIS in Tal Afar where 1200 ISIS jihadists and 98 Coalition soldiers were killed.

- Despite initial concerns, President Erdogan, who doesn’t want ISIS troops in Turkey, announces that Turkey will send at least 15,000 troops to aid in defeating ISIS in Iraq for good.

- President Haslam meets with Romanian President Klaus Iohannis at the White house where they discuss Russia, the fight against Terrorism, and using Romania as a base to send supplies and weapons to anti-Russian rebels in Crimea and the Ukrainian Government. The first operations for the plans is set for June 13th.


May 13th

- The House of Representatives votes 335-100 in favor of the the Requiring Reporting of Online Terrorist Activity Act. Later that day, the bill is signed into law by President Haslam.

- Uzbekistan clears the country of Hizb Hizb Ut-Tahrir due to Kazakh aid.

May 14th

- The White House describes North Korea as a "flagrant menace" in response to the test-launch of a missile from near Kusung into the Sea of Japan.

- Nepal and Bhutan are given invitations to join CAAOPFD to help in developing all of Central asia. They both join and thus help in the war against Central Asian Terrorist groups.

May 16th

- All Villages near and above Mosul are secured by Coalition forces

- The Senate unanimously approves the SPACE Act. The vote at the House will be set on May 23.

- During a rally in Miami, Florida, President Haslam unveils his policy towards Cuba. He announces the reinforcement of the embargo against the Castro regime in order to accelerate the procedure of democratization of the island of his ancestors.

May 17th

- Congress votes in favor of allowing India into TPP and thus an invitation are sent to them, which they accept.

May 18th

- President Haslam holds a bilateral meeting and joint press conference with Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos.

- Every Major City in Northern Iraq is declared free of ISIS, thus leaving them in only villages.

May 19th

- President Bill Haslam and his wife Chrissy Haslam, the First Lady of the United States, started a presidential international trip which ports of call will be Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), Jerusalem (Israel), Rome (Italy), Vatican, Paris (France), Brussels (ahead of the upcoming NATO summit) and Taormina (ahead of the upcoming G7 summit). Secretary of State Bob Corker is also accompanying the President in this international trip.

- The Countries of Georgia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia form the Caucasian Defense Pact or CDP, which promises that each country will protect one another in the case of Russian, Turkish, or Iranian Aggression. The US joins as well.

May 20th

- President Haslam is received in Riyadh by Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud as well as by the Sultan of Oman Qaboos bin Said Al Said and the President of the United Arab Emirates Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

May 21st

- President Haslam delivers a speech to more than fifty leaders of Muslim-majority nations at an Arab Islamic American Summit at the King Abdulaziz Conference Centre in Riyadh, condemning the funding of terrorism by Iran.

May 22nd

- Continuing his tour of the Middle East and Europe, President Haslam is met in Tel Aviv by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President Reuven Rivlin. He visits the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem and becomes the first sitting U.S. President to visit the Western Wall.

- President Haslam holds several bilateral meetings with Prime Minister Netanyahu in Jerusalem where the U.S. President re-affirms the United States' partnership with Israel and their full support to their Israeli ally. Both men talked issues like Palestine, Iran, radical Islamic terrorism and trade. At this occasion, the U.S. President denounces Iran's nuclear program and calls on Iran to use its nuclear energy to create jobs for Iranians not to build nuclear weapons.

- The Russian Unification Plebiscite is held in Belarus and 54% vote in favor of Unification while 46% vote in favor of Independence. As a result, Russian forces march into Belarus and the President of Belarus announces that he will be the new governor of Belarus while Belarus becomes a new Province of Russia. President Haslam states in a Press Release that while the result expanded Russia, it was Democracy in action.

May 23rd

- President Haslam pays his respects at the Jewish Holocaust memorial Yad Vashem with Prime Minister Netanyahu.

- President Haslam visits Bethlehem in the West Bank to hold a bilateral meeting with Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas.

- President Haslam lands in Rome, Italy, in advance of a visit to the Vatican.

- President Haslam meets with Italian President Sergio Mattarella and Prime Minister Paolo Gentiloni. Both men discussed issues like the economy, trade, foreign policy, terrorism, etc. During a press conference in Rome, President Haslam praises Italy's efforts in combating terrorism.

- President Haslam meets privately with Pope Francis at Vatican City. At this occasion, he praises Pope Francis' efforts to promote freedom of religion, human rights and peace in the world.

- The House of Representatives approves Senator Johnson's SPACE Act of 2017 that has to wait to be signed into law by President Haslam at his return from his international trip.

- The NSRA launches an offensive pointed at Damascus to overthrow Bashar Al-Assad and establish a Functioning Democracy in Syria. It is expected they will arrive at Damascus in Mid June.

May 24th

- President Bill Haslam lands in Paris, France, where he meets French President Marie Le Pen. The presidential couple (Bill and Chrissy Haslam) visited the Eiffel Tower, the Pyramid of the Louvre, Les Invalides, the Champs Elysees and the Arc de Triomphe. President Haslam and President Le Pen hold a bilateral meeting at the Arc de Triomphe where they talked issues like the economy, free market, free trade, immigration, defense of democracy and human rights in the world, Russia, terrorism. Both leaders praised each other's countries' efforts to combat ISIS as well as international radical Islamic terrorism and to defend to democracy and freedom. They re-affirm their countries' strong relationship, partnership and commitment to stand to terrorism and oppression and to defend their common national security interests.

- An assassination attempt of Turkish President Erdogan gives President Erdogan the ability to clamp down on Freedom of Speech, Press, and Religion and Turkey, declaring it’s for the greater good of Turkey. President Haslam denounces said action as that of a Dictator and calls Erdogan a dictator in all but name.

- President Bill Haslam lands in Brussels, Belgium where he meets the leaders of the other nations that are members of NATO in the context of the NATO summit where they will talk mostly issues like terrorism, international security, Iran and Syria's future.

- During the 28th NATO summit between the NATO members, the Alliance members agreed to increase spending on national security and defense as well as on intelligence. President Haslam and his allies pledged to increase their support to the Coalition they are leading against ISIS and to intensify the airstrikes and the military operations against ISIS in the Middle East. A terrorism intelligence cell was agreed to be set up within the new intelligence division, which is intended to improve the sharing of information between members. The NATO allies agreed not to rule out any option to ensure Syria's democratization and they also pledged to adopt all the measures needed to reconstruct and stabilize Syria in the post-Assad era. They engaged themselves to intensify the track of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi (leader of ISIS) and to increase sanctions against Iran in order to deprive Iran of the money they use to develop nuclear weapons and to sponsor international terrorism. President Le Pen cites France's example before declaring that Iran should follow this example by using its nuclear energy to ensure Iran's economic growth instead of building nuclear weapons and to support terrorism. Montenegro and Georgia officially became new members of NATO.

- The Coalition’s siege of Hawija begins.

- Senator Mike Huckabee (R-AR) sponsors the “Defence of States’ Rights Act” which will weaken the Federal Government’s hold over the States and strengthen States’ Rights as well as enable the States to not follow what the Federal Government issues if the Majority of the State’s population doesn’t agree with said law. The Senate will hold a vote on it on June 5th and if it passes the Senate, It will got to the House on June 16th.

May 26th

- President Haslam lands in Taormina, Sicily, Italy in the context of the G7 summit.

- The G7 leaders emphasized common endeavours : to end the Syrian crisis, to fulfill the UN mission in Libya and reducing the presence of ISIS, ISIL, Al-Nusra, and Da'esh in Syria and Iraq. North Korea was urged to comply with UN resolutions, Russian responsibility was stressed for the Ukraine conflict. Supporting economic activity and ensuring price stability was demanded while inequalities in trade and gender were called to be challenged. It was agreed to help countries in creating conditions that address the drivers of migration : ending hunger, increasing competitiveness and advancing global health security. Due to suspicions claiming that Pakistan sponsors terrorism and to the fact that Shakil Afridi was arrested by the Pakistani authorities while he assisted U.S. efforts to locate Osama Bin Laden, the G7 members agreed to reduce aid to Pakistan in order to force them to give more efforts to fight and defeat radical Islamic terrorist groups like ISIS, Al Qaida and the Taliban, which is practically extinct by now. This decision is also aimed at encouraging India to send troops in Afghanistan in order to fight terrorism there. At the G7 summit, President Haslam and his allies agreed to ratify the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP), a proposed free trade agreement between the United States and Europe, after reassures that job losses will be avoided thanks to tax cuts for the manufacturing industry and reduction of the corporation tax rate. As a result, the TTIP is signed, reduces the tariffs, increases trade between the United States and Europe and ensures the creation of 500,000 jobs in the United States.

- President Haslam holds a bilateral meeting with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzō Abe to discuss the threat of North Korea's ballistic missile program.

- Secretary of State Corker meets with Sigmar Gabriel, the German Minister for Foreign Affairs, to discuss issues like terrorism, Russia and trade.

- A series of protests against President Erdogan begins in Turkey. These protests will last the entire year.

May 27th

- President Haslam continues discussions with G7 leaders on a whole range of issues, agreeing on a communique on fighting protectionism in international trade on promoting free market solutions in trade agreements and also on fighting for the promotion of human rights in the world and on improving the US' ecological footprint through the use of a part of the revenues from oil drilling to develop renewable energies.

- The Last of Afghanistan is cleared of Major Taliban forces, thus leaving only scattered remains in random locations across the Country. This is hailed as a major victory by the Haslam Administration.

- President Haslam addresses American troops stationed in Italy at the Naval Air Station Sigonella.

- Having concluded his foreign trip, President Haslam, along with Chrissy and Secretary of State Corker, took the flight to Washington.

- Around the world, the international press published articles about the incredible contributions made by Bill Haslam, Justin Trudeau and Marie Le Pen at the NATO summit and at the G7 summit while these three leaders were, in some ways, forming a trio while they are working with their allies in NATO and in the G7. In fact, the international press underlined all things these three leaders have in common : all three of them are representants of the free world, they are all young and are members of Generation X (with President Haslam who will turn 59 in august, Prime Minister Trudeau who is 45 and President Le Pen who is 48) and brought new ideas and strategies in their leaderships as well as during their meetings with their international allies. The international press gave several nicknames to the trio such as the New Leadership Trio, the Generation X Team, and the X Team.

- NSRA Forces secure South-Eastern Syria of Assad forces, though they halt due to a lack of supplies due to US supplies being poured into Northern Iraq.

May 28th

- Montenegro, Armenia and Georgia, who became new members of NATO, joined the Coalition against ISIS and started orchestrating airstrikes against ISIS.

- Senators Lamar Alexander (R-TN) and Chris Murphy (D-CT) co-sponsor a Bill that will allow Schools to prosper as needless things are cut from Education and instead replaced with the things children will need to learn to be productive in life. The Bill will be voted by the Senate on June 14th and if it passes, the House on June 21st.

- The United States joins the Iraqi troops and the Kurds in the siege of Hawija. The next morning, thanks to the U.S. Army’s military power, the Coalition takes the upper hand and defeats ISIS in Hawija. As a result, all of ISIS’ Iraqi territory is freed by the Coalition.

May 29th

- President Haslam is briefed on a new missile test-launch by North Korea, which is alleged to have discharged into waters within Japan's exclusive economic zone.

May 30th

- President Haslam signs Senator Johnson's SPACE Act of 2017 into law.

- President Haslam hosts Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc at the White House and oversees the signing of trade deals worth USD$17 billion between both countries.

May 31st

- President Haslam performs a wreath-laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at the Arlington National Cemetery and gives a speech honoring those who have died fighting for the U.S.

- Intelligence reveals that over 120 Taliban soldiers have fled into Pakistan, which leads to more Sanctions being issued on Pakistan until they turn the soldiers in.

- Trained and armed by the Coalition forces, NSRA forces managed to defeat Assad's forces in cities surrounding Damascus, including in Izra, Suwayda, Al-Qurayah, Kanaker, Qatana, etc. By deploying troops to fight ISIS, the Assad regime weakened the defense of these cities, which gave the advantage to the NSRA. By freeing all the cities around Damascus, the rebels cut any connections between the rest of the Assad troops and the Syrian capital, which deprives them of reinforcements.
