For now. We can't know for sure for how long "for now" is. All it takes are a bunch of idiots with speedboats and guns to exterminate them, simply for the "glory" of being the ones who ended an entire civilization. Yep we all know them as pirates, i wonder if they are also active as far as the Andaman Islands.

They have been known to raid ships near Sri Lanka and the Maldives, and usually find refuge in Southeast Asia. They're actually quite a serious threat, even though everyone thinks modern pirates are only found in Somalia. Those guys are worldwide.

Lucky for us, we have the Indian government constantly patrolling the waters. Plus, the Andaman Islands are heavily populated, so approaching there would be a risk for them.

So the only worry is the the dangerous creature called the tourist who might come to close and be shot at with spears and arrows.

This dangerous suborder of Homo sapiens has been known to wreak havoc across all Planet Earth. What is baffling is that world nations openly encourage irresponsable tourism, endangering the Sentinelese and other uncontacted groups. Also, tourists can bring infections and disease that can wipe out the Sentinelese, as well as destroy their homeland. Tourism really is a deadly threat for them.

I can already picture a rich tycoon selling overpriced boat trips to North Sentinel Island so people can catch a glimpse of these uncontacted people. Someday it will become a tourist attraction if we do nothing.

I honestly can't say that I feel all that sorry for someone who decided that it was a good idea to visit an island known for its hostile population.

No i wonder, is Trump going to send in the Marines to take care of these barbarians who live on the most dangerous island in the world. Just joking, this is another proof why these tribes should be left alone.
