Well, I for one don't drive a Subaru.  But it is interesting to read the history like this. I was aware of their more positive attitude, but not of how it came to be. |

Only in America.In the UK and Europe, the Subaru is a macho, muscle car.

Interesting article on social changes and attitude shift. As the last section said Subaru in part simply selected a market that got ignored by other companies but they do seem to have thought about how best to do this.
