Here is a map that shows Modern European borders superimposed over Europe in 1914 immediately before World War 1.  Of course the real nightmare for modern Poland would be if both nations were brought from the past. In which case while there would still be millions of Poles under Russian and German rule modern Poland would be limited to the Galacia region that in 1914 was part of the Austrian empire. One other point if Russia was brought from ~1914 is that the Jewish Pale would still exist in the empire so you have several million additional Jews that Israel might well be interested in. True their a century behind the times but they could have an impact on the demographic contest in Palestine. |

They could probably do an amphibious assault, at least unless NATO was quickly to come to Germany's defence, in which case things could get very nasty. Also possibly use paras to help in any invasion while modern a/c in just about any role would be a huge shock to the imperial Germans. I think the big issue is how quickly people realise what has happened and IF the west decides to establish what would be basically a protectorate over imperial Germany. Russia might want to offer Poland some help, if Poland takes it. Possibly but I don't think the Poles would want so many Germans. Or possibly even more likely trust the Russians to actually withdraw once they were on Polish soil. |

Well the first post did say Wilhelmine Germany or Tsarist Russia, so one not both i think. |

Well, the princess would be from the era that still used "obey" for the bride in her wedding vows. I'm sure a lot of guys would like that.

But he found the women he loves, why would he marry a princes he does not know ore love, this is not the 1914s where royal marriages where done to bond families toghter, also who do you think would be a good candidate for him. |
