Would history still hear of them as females? Almost certainly not. Both societies were so conservative that it would be difficult for females to gain any significant influence. You are likely to see other people playing similar roles and given what Hitler was like OTL there is the danger that a German revanchist leader, presuming WWI still occurs and ends in a Germany defeat, might be far more competent, which could be very bad for everybody. |

I was thinking of exploring Lenin as a sister/daughter... but yeah, she would have been sad at her brother's execution, but had little opportunity to do anything about it, especially if she'd already had her wedding day.

The grander trends of history would have remained - Russia would be ripe for revolution in 1917, and Germany would be devastated and angry from WWI. Someone would have filled the voids. Not necessarily the Bolsheviks or the Nazis though. Hell, they wouldn't be the ones we know.
