Interesting, although I'm rather doubtful that particular problem caused the death of 80% of the Aztecs, given how much else was going on. [Many other diseases, endemitic conflict and brutal abuse by the incoming Spanish]. I think there's probably a typo in the section "what caused the 1545 and 1976 “cocoliztli” events," Guessing its meant to be 1576?
