OTL Hitler wasted huge resources and invaluable time building the expensive Autobahn by hand, when Germany was poor and had no oil or rubber and very few cars or buses and an excellent railroad system using coal and steel. Other expensive projects were the chancelry, Nuremberg stadium, Nazi party and SS buildings, propaganda movies, yearly rallies that paralized production temporarily, battleships, pocket battleships, aircraft carrier Deutschland and heavy cruisers, which alarmed Britain, consumed enormous shipyard capacity, quantities of steel, design resources and sailors and stood no chance against the Anglo-French fleet. Extremely expensive research projects on rockets, jet engines, super cannon, etc, all this at a time when Germany produced little grain and consumed a lot feeding workhorses (because there were no tractors, which in wartime would be invaluable to minimize farm labor and to pull guns, ammo, etc, long distances) and Germany produced fewer engines than Britain.
Hitler did not realize that it was impossible for Germany alone to defeat, develop, rule and populate the huge USSR and that Poland (the only other dictatorship in western Europe with a good army), China, Japan, Romania and Turkey were the ideal partners to invade, share and develop the USSR.
Moreover, Hitler did not use the fact that Ireland and Britain had economic wars. Ireland needed coal and exported agricultural products, ships, etc, it would have been an ideal trade partner for Germany, which produced coal and imported agricultural products and it would have been an invaluable ally against Britain. Neither did Hitler (or Japan) realize that India was crucial for the British war effort and could be helped to become independent through international pressure or Japanese invasion of Ceylon.

In 1933 Europe agriculture still uses horse power. Hitler decides to build a million tractors per year by 1936, for export to Yugoslavia, Romania, Poland, etc, and to boost German agriculture and WM mobility in wartime. Germany embarks in industrial modernization, adopting the American mass production system, which does not use trained mechanics but inexperienced workers performing a simple, repetitive task all day.
In 1933 Hitler concentrates all resources to build huge steelmills, fertilizer plants, tire, tractor, motorcycle, car, truck, machine tool, cutting tool and agricultural equipment factories and small plane factories. In 1935 Germany will build huge plane factories. Shipyard capacity is greaty expanded and serial production of 1,000 merchant ships and 100 passenger liners in 4 years is undertaken. A massive project to modernize agriculture, replacing horses with tractors and increasing vegetable oil production, which contain more energy than other foods and can be used in Diesel engines.
In 1933 the KM embarks in serial production of 24 light cruisers and 100 each destroyers, large torpedo boats and U-boats. in 1937 it starts modifying 24 auxiliary cruisers. All ships are to be ready by June 1939.
The LW invests on developing an excellent fighter, a one seater dive bomber-fighter and a twin engine passenger plane, which can be adapted for level bombing. All 3 planes must be tough, easy to produce and maintain in large numbers. They must use 20 mm cannon firing tungsten core shells which can pierce light tanks. The dive bomber should have fixed landing gear and an aircooled engine.
The WM must develop a much lighter version of the Browing BAR of WW I, firing a shortened 7mm Mauser round in a detachable, 30 round magazine. a factory must be built by 1935 to make at least 1 million per year for export to China, Turkey, Ireland, Poland, etc, a shorter and thinner barrel, lighter and cheaper version of the MG 32, firing the same 7 mm Kurz round must be developed and a factory built to make at least 100,000 per year. An easy to produce, turretless armored vehicle with a 65 mm long barrel gun and 5 cm frontal armor must be developed and a factory to produce at least 10,000 per year must be built. A self propelled gun with mcuh thinner armor and fewer hp and usingthe same 65 mm gun must be developed and a factory to produce at least 20,000 per year must be built. A sabot round with a 45 mm AP shell at over 3,600 fps must be mass produced for the 65 mm gun, as well as a 65 mm AP shell and a 65 mm HE shell. A 65 mm light mortar and an 88 mm heavy mortar must be developed and a factory to produce 100,000 of the light and 25,000 of the heavy mortar per year must be built. A submachine gun firing a 10 mm round, the same length of the 9 mm Parabellum) and using a 50 round drum magazine (like that of the Thompson submachine gun), must be developed and a factory to build at least 1 million units per year must be built.
In 1933 Germany establishes intense trade with China, Ireland, Holland, Poland, Spain, etc, buying agricultural products (wool, produce, meat, dairy, grain, etc,) and ships and in the case of Holland, oil, tin, coffee, cacao and rubber from the DEI and delivering coal, fertilizer, steel, chemicals, machine tools, cutting tools, pharmaceuticals, tractors, etc, so that China, Ireland, Holland, Spain, etc, stop trading with Britain.
In 1934 Germany proposes the formation of a coalition with China & Poland for trade and mutual development and defense. China and Poland need allies against the USSR, which is rapidly expanding its industry and armed forces, so they accept. This forces Japan to look at British colonies and the DEI as an easier and richer target than China.
In 1936 Germany urges Poland to annex Latvia and Estonia, while Germany annexes Lithuania in order to preempt a Soviet invasion of that flank. No European countries will dare to declare war against the German-Polish-Chinese coalition over 3 small countries that the USSR can invade in days. Poland agrees and the Baltic countries are annexed in 3 days. This year Germany invites Japan and Thailand to join the coalition in order to invade European colonies and liberate India in 1938, crucial for British defense. This year Germany exports billions worth of tractors, motorcycles, trucks, fertilizer, armament, munitions, steel, coal, etc, to coalition members. Germany orders 10 each long range submarines, light cruisers and auxiliary cruisers from Japan. Japan buys German armor, submachine guns (which become extremely useful in jungle and urban warfare, MG 32 Kurz, etc,
This year the Coalition starts a very strong campaign for Indian independence. The US strongly backs the campaign, annoying the British.
Germany does not help Franco against the republic in Spain, so the revolt fails early. Nobody seas the effects of bombing, armor tactics, dive bombing, etc, and Germany does not get a bad reputation for overthroswing a democracy.
In 1937 the WM, KM and LW are already quite strong, as are China, Poland, Thailand and Japan. The coalition invites Ireland to join it secretely, so that in 1938 it may lliberate Ulster, while Britain is under attack in the far east, Mesiterranean, etc, The coalition also invites Italy to join it and buy armament, etc, so it can invade Corsica, Egypt and Tunisia, while Britain and France are under attack elsewhere. The coalition also invites Romania and Finland to join it. They do.
Japan helps Italy and Germany to develop torpedo plane anbd antishipping dive bomber squadrons to attack the RN and French navies.
In early 1938 Thailand and China invade Hong Kong, Indochina (Japan takes only a small part of the coast, for naval and air bases), Burma (Japan takes Rangoon) and Malaya (Japan takes Penang). Japan invades Vladivostok, Sakhalin, Singapore, Sumatra, Java, British Borneo, Ceylon, Mauritius and Reunion and wipes out the RN from the Indian Ocean. The coalition declares Indian independence and admits India as a member. Simultaneously, in Europe: Poland invades Belorussia (Minsk is a few km from the border) in 2 weeks with planes, armor, etc, bought from Germany. Germany invades Holland, Denmark, Sweden (from Finland and by sea), Iceland and the Faroe Islands. A German and a Polish division disembark in Ireland to assist in the liberation of Ulster. German twin engine bombers land in Ireland and armore, SP guns and single engine bombers are unloaded from merchant ships. Ulster falls in 4 days. Ireland and Iceland become invaluable bases for coalition submarines and planes and to gather seized ships, before sailing them to the continent.
In peacetime, Italian forces disembark from merchant ships in Corsica, Bizerte, Crete, Alexandria and Malta and capture them with heavy air and naval support. Land forces rush from the Libyan border to reinforce Alexandria. Several division disembark to reinforce Bizerte and ALexandria after the coup de main.
Finland invades Karolia, greatly shortening the Soviet-Finnish border. From Finland the LW wipes out the Soviet Baltic and White Sea fleets.
Romania invades the Soviet Black Sea coast (Odessa, Nikolaev, etc,). From Romania the LW wipes out the Soviet Baltic fleet.
After these successes the coalition invites Turkey to join it and invade the South Caucasus. It does, Italian warships enter the Black Sea. Seizure of the South Caucasus deprives the USSR of oil and use of Iranian ports.
In a single week, Japanese, German, Italian, Romanian, Finnish and Polish submarines and ships seize or sink 428 British, Dutch, Soviet, Swedish and French ships.
The impressive Soviet, British, Dutch and French territorial and ship losses in record time and the liberation of India give the coalition good press in the US and boost the isolationist movement.
