Saw the new Spider-Man two days ago on its American opening night and I would say I quite enjoyed it. It has a great sense of humor and great characterization (something I think Marvel in general is quite good at in their movies).
I think it's the best depiction of a 21st century American high school I've ever seen, and the Quizbowler in me was made extremely happy by the depiction of the Academic Decathalon team he's on.
Any thoughts on the movie?

Any thoughts on the movie? I liked the villian the most, they really got across that this was a man forced into crime by bad terms and even then he is still generally a decent guy. The ending also had some nice suprises. If I was to pick something to dislike about the Movie it is that Marvel still hasn't learned to do math when it comes to the timeline.

The villain was good no doubt. I read about the timeline thing and I see it as a minor thing.
