Hi all,
For those of you familiar with the History, Politics and Current Affairs forum was taken down in a DDOS attack sometime yesterday evening. The site is home to such projects as "The Last War?" and "Red Dawn+20" which I know is popular with some here.
The only information I have at this time is this posted in an email from Stu, the site mod:
The latest news isn't good. It appears that there was some form of DDOS attack on the forum last night between 1630 and 1730 after which the SQL file that contains the site data was hacked and destroyed. Commandante Ours Polaire who looks after the programming side of things will be trying to fix the problem and reload from the backup.
At the moment, we have no idea when the forum will be back up.
