A Happy New Year to my European friends!
It won't be 2017 here for about two and a half hours.
Today in the dining room of the hotel I was staying in, the news on TV was showing the celebrations in Sydney. There was a father and three young-ish daughters; the father was joking that 'Australia is in the future!' The girls weren't amused.
