Something like two decades back  I played in a Warhammer fantasy campaign but I must admit the 40k version never appealed to me to be honest. [To be honest found the fantasy series rather grim in its underlying theme of steady decay and the eventual victory of chaos but definitely fun playing the battle game. Steve |

The Imperium is going to collapse and the Emperor will die, leaving all forms of FTL gone and the galaxy plunged into eternal darkness. |
