Duchess van Limburg, because i life in Limburg, you could have them named after these: Titels Nederlandse koninklijke familie, of course name them after high ranking nobles not the lower once. So Sint Paulus-Class: Hr. B. Ms. Viamao Nice and good names, but i wonder why the Sint Paulus class has a ship named after a municipality in the empire of Brazil.

Nice and good names, but i wonder why the Sint Paulus class has a ship named after a municipality in the empire of Brazil. Because it is a Brazilian ship and I looked up a list of counties in Brazil. There where also Brazilian nobility tittles in OTL: check out the wiki article ( Brazilian nobility), you could dutchfie them so they would fit in this universe.

Yes, ITL the Dutch nobility has been losing influence in the last decades but they still remain an influental force in national politics because they are often Rich and hold important functions in their local community.
