Very random question for this forum, but here goes:
What if Somalia would have waited until the late 1980s or early 1990s (when Ethiopia was presumably weaker than it was in 1977) to invade the Ogaden Region of Ethiopia?
Would Somalia have been likely to win its war with Ethiopia in this scenario?
Indeed, any thoughts on this?

Does anyone here know a lot about African history? No and i would assume that Somalia will still turn into the country we now today even if it goes to war in the Late 1980s with War With Ethiopia.

Maybe. However, the Somalian victory in a war with Ethiopia might strengthen Somali nationalism and unity and thus might prevent the break-up and disintegration of Somalia.

It could but Siad Barre must not be the person in charge of the country as he was one of the main reasson why the country turned out as it is toady.

What about getting rid of Siad Barre in some kind of accident shortly after Somalia's victory in this war against Ethiopia, though?

Will Somalia if they win annex Ethiopia or install a pro-Somalia government. They will only annex the Somali-majority areas of Ethiopia: Indeed, they probably wouldn't care about what happens to the rest of Ethiopia.
