True, although both could be simplified. American states have some of the most beautiful flags in the world, i like the flag of Hawaii, flag of Mississippi, flag of Texas and the flag of California, but i do wonder if there is going to ever be a new flag of Mississippi as Americans are a bit offended with anything related to the Confederate flag these days, the 2001 proposed flag of Mississippi also looks good but a shame it was not admitted, if it was done now i would think it would win the referendum. 2001 proposed flag of Mississippi
It's better than the Confederate version, no doubt; it was rejected by a percentage that seems to be based on racial lines.

In many of the liberal areas, yes (Jackson, Natchez, Oxford), but the rest of state in white-dominant areas is very conservative and proud of their Confederate past.

But showing the Confederate flag is not wise at this point, even the famous General Lee car from the Dukes of Hazzerd has been target for having a Confederate flag painted on its top, it a car people, let it be.

In the liberal areas it is very much unwise. In the conservative, white areas it's not something to blink at.

Those are decent online ways to create flags. Years back, long before I had any proficiency with digital programs, I used MS Powerpoint. Now, I use Adobe Photoshop, Paint.NET (with add-ons), Inkscape, and other sundry programs. Frequently, I use several programs to achieve the final result. Here are my own personal flags.

Those a three nice flags you have made there.

Thank you! The first is a flag that I designed for my family back in 2006. The second flag consists of my assumed armorial bearings, and the last flag is made up of my three initials within a circle (my avatar). By the way, I used Real US Flag Screensaver to make make the 3D image. It's a free download. I just switched the US flag image with my own, and printscreened the image.

Like the second flag the most, maybe because it has a lion on it.

Thank you, again! Here is an actual photo of the flag. That is cool, always nice to say a own designed flag in real life. It was a gift from a friend. I did some digital heraldic artwork for him, and he had it made. Eventually, I want to have the others made.
