It isn’t even enjoyable to read. Not incompetent, but dry, without personality or humanity and without any grounding (on the other hand) in industry or economics.

I know and i might been guilty of it my self in TLs i create, but OTL planes, ships and tanks appear always as they are OTL, you think with a butterfly 10 years in the past you might see different things fly, drive ore sail.

It is the 'easy way out'. The reason that the @ equipment emerged as it did came from the exigencies of campaigns, threats, economic circumstances, limitations on engines, politics and a whole host of reasons.
The issue here was that the weapons of the historical WW3, or the Cold War preparations for the same, were not present in the same numbers as WW2, nor were they designed to be used in the same fashion. The B-47 did not have a conventional bombing capacity and the B-52 developed one down the line, rather than being intended as such from the beginning.
Decisions made by the USAF and RAF regarding what fighters and how many came from the threat lying out beyond the Inner German border; with Nazis across the Channel, the whole force structure would change and have a great deal more development and urgency.
Related to it is how the British Army sat back and said 'The 17pdr will be fine as a gun for the Centurion the next 10 years' and did nothing. This does have a certain parallel with another work by the same author regarding Malaya, where a much heralded delivery of Matilda II tanks turned out to be Matilda Is. That type of hapless incident occurs a lot to British forces in his works.
I'd really prefer to leave the whole story there, rather than continue to give up even minutes talking about it.

I agree, think you have given plenty of good comments in the 2 pages you have posted here, let the TL go on and on AH.com, here it has hit in my eyes a dead end in discussion, for me at least.

Just my 2 cents before we let this thread sleep (if nobody has to add something new, I'm OK with that): simon darkshade, your criticism is fully justified. The problem is: CalBear would have had to say after that "OK, this TL really sucks, I'd have to start completely from scratch, and maybe I can salvage a bit". But he didn't have the strength for that.
