As long as we're creating a hundred-year-ahead version of 1984, what kinds of technology exist in the world of 2084?

Alright, what would the various nation-states do with it, exactly? Considering the dystopian and presumably tyrannical nature of these regimes (courtesy of emulating the original work), how would internet, computers, smart devices, etc.--or their 2084 equivalents--look nearly 7, dreadful decades into the future?

Are we talking about the 3 regimes i created for this 2084 scenario.

Well, yes. I'm not sure what other (major) regimes would exist in this scenario. Not many i think. Okay, any ideas as to how the world of 2084 came to be (i.e. POD(s) in mind)? Also, what's the status of science and technology in this future? And not to insult this world-building project, but I feel that this would be more likely to come about--if at all--in a couple more centuries or so. Maybe something like 2184, 2284, 2384, etcetera seems more plausible to me. But that's just my opinion, and predictors have been way off-base before.

Toughed of integrating the world of the novel 1984 into the 2084 universe. Using what happen in the book (check the 1984 quotes here) i say this: Ravages of the World War III ore also known as the atomic war of the Twenty-fifties where a couple of hundreds of bombs were dropped on industrial centres, chiefly in European Russia, Asia, Western Europe, and North America. The effect was to convince the ruling groups of all countries that couple of thousands bombs the warring sides still had in their possession atomic bombs would mean the end of organized society, and hence of their own power. Thereafter, although no formal agreement was ever made or hinted at, no more bombs were dropped. All three powers merely continue to produce atomic bombs and store them up against the decisive opportunity which they all believe will come sooner or later.

As I understand it in 1984 the three blocs tightly suppressed technological development as they feared internal changes more than their external enemies. In fact possibly the wars there were markedly smaller that many thought but were used to distract the ordinary subjects from the actual rule by their dictators.
If this 2084 was similar then you might not see much if any great advance compared to whenever this system was set up and a lot of technology being suppressed, at least for common use. Plus, if the populations were that large you would probably have pretty abysmal, at least compared to the modern west. living standards and material possessions for the ordinary people, although the elites could live much better. Both to prevent anyone having much free time and education for possibly questioning the status quo and to support those large populations.

Possibly although that might expose them to too great a risk of losing control of their territories and peoples on Earth or to being removed by a strike against such accommodation. Unless possibly those elites are actually working together and then their sharing such facilities and willing to brutally crush any unrest on Earth, blaming the resulting slaughter on one of the rival blocs.

That was what i was thinking, the elites live in luxury while they make sure the normal people down in earth never will know the truth.
