No broadcast for three days due to the breakdown of comms as the lights go out and mankind enters a dark age ruled by the undead.

Majority of the Earth's population either turned or dead. Only 1 billion humans remain uninfected but are struggling to survive attacks and infighting from hostile survivors.
Reports of boats heading to the Danish territory of Greenland. Refugees are being screened at Nuuk.
Untold horror stories emerge from radio broadcasts.
Forbidden City confirmed overrun. Contact lost with the Central Military Commission.

Build a large pit away from your base to burn the corpses then decontaminate the vehicles afterwards. |

This is how you died. This Earth is among the worst Zombie Earths i know to be in. It's survivable. These zombies are slow. What made the KI deadly was the airborne strain. Think of COVID-19 before the test kits were developed. |
