Netherlands on the side of Denmark will force Prussia to move some troops to the border with the Netherlands. And it was all unintentional! Just for the need of free airspace. As I understand Denmark of 1940 imported cereals from the Netherlands mainly I assume for fodder to keep the Beef export going. Any info on trade would be most welcome. Would there be any interest in Danish bicycles? Think so.

I would assume that might depend on how good the roads are, unless the bikes are pretty rugged and have good suspension. Their not exactly designed for cross-country work unless you have something like a mountain bike.

Den Haag 15 April 1940/ 7 February 1864 Lieutenantgeneral Gørtz arrive by aircraft at Den Haag, Netherlands and is admitted to King Willem II. As the King have heard the news of the Danish defeat of the Austrian and Prussian troops in Schleswig he is most wanting of more information. Due to his interest in all things Military the King is much delighted to get word from a Danish senior Army General Officer; in fact it is the King that is asking to support the Danish and not the other way round which astonish General Gørtz but make his task that much easier. General Gørtz is asked by the King to provide a Staff Course for Dutch senior Army Officers which request he will present to the Danish Army Commander. King Willem II allow the Danish Fokker F-XII to enter Dutch airspace for its flight to London. Copenhagen is notified by radio.
Was this the case OTL and was it a decision/oddity of the king rather than the view of the country/government overall? There might be concern about an expansionist Germany looking to add some Dutch lands or was there a general sympathy for the Danish cause?

The Danish Army used standard bicycles for its "mounted" troops also on gravel roads. Actually it will be better than anything in development. Found this wonderful development of bicycles:
As no. 3 is the prevalent type at the moment outside Denmarks.. Suspension? This is a sport for MEN!

No - he seems to have been very much a military afficionado so figured that he might go for it to show especially is Wife that this is something.
Really pure conjecture on my part but he was apparently rather autocratic and in running conflict with his Wife about how a country should ruled.

On thing that might change is the Netherlands ambassador to Denmark in 1940 making sure William, Prince of Orange gets a wife of high status which int OTL resulting in him going down the drain after the failed plan for a marriage between Prince William and Princess Alice of the United Kingdom, the second daughter of Queen Victoria

Then we can't have him fooling around Denmarks - advanced Military training as his father would like BUT not women of the status wanted.

Royal Palace Copenhagen 16 April 1940/8 February 1864 The Crownprincess of Denmark Ingrid give birth to a healthy girl to be christened Margrethe Alexandrine Thyra Ingrid
(my take: OTL Margrethe Alexandrine (her grand-mother) Thorhildur (old Norse/North Atlantic lands) Ingrid (her mother) – here Thorhildur is exchanged with Thyra the Queen of King Gorm who established the Royal Dynasty and in saga's known for rejecting the courtship of the German King and rebuilding the Dannevirke Rampart! Also the name of the youngest daughter of King Christian 9 and Queen Louise of Hesse-Kassel who married Prince Ernest Augustus of Hanover and Cumberland)
Suffice to say the Princess' third name was much discussed in political circles but the General Public loved it.

Given a primary difference between male and female anatomy that is probably not the wisest stance.
Plus also just because something can be done doesn't mean it will be practical or popular.

Please this is 1864 or 1940 - off course ladies bicycles is manufactured. The suspension thing is somewhat recent if You think back to our childhood and ahead It was a sport for men though as You read the 1914 ISOT You remember the Tour de Deutschland for both women and men!

London 16 April 1940/ 8 February 1864
The Times Editor would be surprised at the news of a large Danish Flying Machine landing just to the south of London with Carriages hired by the Danish Legate to London awaiting it. The Flying Machine was said to be carrying a Danish Negotiating Delegation regarding the Schleswig War.
The Editor had Journalist's run off in all directions to get news of the development of the situation – this being news indeed.

Well no need for two certain Americans to make the first flight, the world now knows the Danes beat them by 40 years.
