PC: Boris Savinkov remains a left leaning political figure.
We know the guy from the Kaiserreich series as the guy who was to that series as Mussolini and Hitler as to OTL. However, before Savinkov turned to the right, he was basically on the side of the SRs. Was it possible for Savinkov to become the face of the Russian left instead of becoming a right wing figure?

I actually do not know much about him. Was he not a terrorist and murderer and didn't the Bolsheviks lure him back to Russia after exile and kill him?

WI: Malenkov succeeds Stalin. That happened and then Khrushchev outmaneuvered him.

So what if ot didn't happen and Malenkov became the leader of the USSR? Didn't he have a bunch of interesting economic policies? That expletive deleted, was one of Stalin's hatchet men and gophers. Aside from the usual Stalin assigned massacres, his own instigated liquidation of the Leningrad political elite who were heroes of the siege,, a Jewish pogrom, he engineered ("Death of the poets"), a defamation campaign of Georgy Zhukov, and a tag team effort with Beria to terrorize scientists and engineers to produce the Russian atomic bomb and rockets to carry them, i find nothing in the man's record, except Stalin toadyism, an ability to clerk, and a hatred of a clown named Zhadanov. He engaged in a political clash over ideology versus apparatchik approaches to Russian socialism with that fool. Stalin had the loser of that argument murdered. If he had any economic theories at all, it was what does Comrade Stalin want today, and who do I have to kill to make it happen? That was more or less why it was so easy for Khrushchev to put a quick coalition together to neuter him. He was a nichego cheloveka or "nothing man".

Now this is an interesting tidbit usable for many a WW2 AH: Hélène de PortesIn short: Mistress of Reynaud since 1930; hell of a defeatist and anti-British; "according to his bodyguard Walter Thompson, actually lunged at Churchill's throat with a knife she had concealed within her Christian Dior dress" (on the conference on June 12th). Died in a car accident on June 28th when she and Reynaud tried to escape to North Africa. Really have to think what I'm going to do with them in "How many Sixes..." Her death might be easily butterflied away. If she survives, she'll rather help the Nazis than suddenly see the wrong of her ways.

Now in TTL, her fate isn't that different from OTL (that of France is, however). I'm wondering though what'll happen in a TL where she doesn't die and can keep on putting a bad influence on Reynaud.
