Currently playing through the original StarCraft with the intention of doing that, Brood War, and all three parts of StarCraft II to get a fuller feel for the universe.

And have you gotten the chance to play it yet and picked out some favourite characters yet?

No matter which side you pick, you Will sooner or later find out that both sides have heroes and villians in their ranks as well as genuine good reasons for fighting this war. In the end, the best Choice is probably to choose niether side.

Is it best to save before i chose so i can pick both sides without having to start over again and when do i start playing with my castle and is there still lot to do when i complete the campaigns.

That is not necassery, you can choose to begin from that point if you start a new game. although you need to buy the game in question to actually play it.

Thanks for the answer, i will play it not to much as i want to have fun with it, the last Fire Emblem game i played i was so hooked i played it out in less than 3 days and that is not including all the DLS that came after.

I don't think you Will manage to play all of the games in three days even if you tried to, the later maps can get quite hard. I have lost count of the number of times I had to restart a mission because one of my characters died.

Well it was on vacation in France when there was only rain, rain and a lot more rain, so i had plenty of time to play everything, did not complete everything but i did play a lot.
