Just going on the previous numbers, 4 Jerry fighter squadrons and 5 bomber squadrons is a force that can be locally overwhelmed with the right approach and forces. The key is to isolate them and pick them off individually whilst drawing German attention elsewhere. Hit Southern Norway with raids from Scotland and Shetland and feint somewhere else, prior to the carrier fleet walloping the fighter fields, whilst using commandos and sabotage to hit the bomber fields. Once their very narrow window of threat is closed, then start putting 160-200 RAF planes ashore. The essence of hitting Norway is that the seaward flank is bally large, giving plenty of space to move. Agree problem with said flank is its very large and towns, airfields etc. is wayy to the bottom of the Fiords usually making for decisions of where to land - too far out in the arqipelago and You may miss the objectives through waste of time - lack of reconnaisance of said arqipelago and You may be in for a nasty surprise.. |

Now I got to figure how to work that into conversation with the "inlaws".  They are a bunch of Massachusetts (People's republic of )DemoRat Party fanatics, who voted for Biden. They still can't believe their sister married a crude common sailor.  |
