I didn't realize this show is a year old. It got overshadowed by All of Us Are Dead on Netflix.
The POD is set in 2019 in a town near Tokyo Bay, as the characters mention Yokosuka and Yokohama being nearby. The zombies act like the zombies from The Kingdom (Netflix series about zombies in medieval Joseon) since they are slow in the day and active at night. The zombies here are called Golems in reference to the Jewish mythology while the virus is called the Golem Virus.
It was also mentioned at some point the American forces in Japan have pulled out to safer location.
I'm still at episode 5. Will update more once I finish.

Just finished Season 3 a few days ago. Between S2 and S3 is a 93-minute long episode that serves as an interquel. Since this is only available on Hulu Japan and Netflix in Southeast Asia, for those living outside you may watch on Watch Asian AC.

From the United States, do not know if it is also on Netflix in your country but if you type the title I posted in YouTube you can watch it there as well, it is fun to watch. |
