If they where Modern Politicians from 2020 yes, that would belong in Politics and Current Affairs, but if you say Modern Politicians from 2010, than it would be okay, but is 1960 America ready to be lead by the first black president. Well, if we're using the slate of politicians in office in 2010, I'm guessing 'no'. If those then consumed by Obama Derangement Syndrome tarred and feathered the man without necessarily criticizing him where he may have legitimately deserved it, then the Jim-Crow Dixiecrats and other racist elements of the Deep South would wreck a thousand times more havoc.
There's also the fact that these uptimer politicians have suddenly replaced the ones that they knew and elected to office, so there's definitely a question of whether the population will willingly submit to their diktats. Even if law enforcement, the armed forces, and the other arms of the federal government have magically placed themselves at the beck and call of the 2010 political class, I'm still guessing that they'd be in for the tamp-down of a lifetime.
I would agree with this. Its a recipe for massive resistance, quite probably violent if the modern politicians don't step down quickly. Even apart from social differences the down-timers would be deeply offended that the people they have elected have been replaced by strangers.

Oh, hell yes. In addition, I'm guessing that all of the revelations of the future that'd come with the uptimers' arrival--Civil Rights legislation, anti-Vietnam War fervor, the Sexual Revolution, the latter half of the Cold War before the USSR collapsed in 1991, 9/11 and the subsequent War on Terror, the release of the iPhone which exploded the already-burgeoning internet in 2007, and the first black POTUS being elected in 2008--would probably set the tone for a worse future as the masses overreact once they get over the initiate shock and awe.

Well it would be a lot shorter, far, far less bloody and destructive and probably remembered with a smile. On my main PC at the moment where the sound doesn't work but will have a listen a bit later on the other one.

'People Get Battle Force 5 Vehicles'. I'd link to the playlist of episodes online so that you guys know what I'm talking about, but then they're copyrighted material. As such, this Wiki article or searching Google for yourself will probably have to do.

Yes, those with drivers' licensing and the other needed qualifications do indeed get those vehicles. Maybe while private citizens get the BF5's cars, law enforcement and military personnel get access to the more advanced heavy hitters like Mobias Command Centers (which also come with options like 'Onslaught Mode' when the going gets tough).

'ASB Reboots All Discontinued TV Shows'. A would love to see a reboot of space above and beyond. Uh-huh. In my case, a reboot of various shows like Battle Force 5 as well as Star Wars: The Clone Wars beyond just the final season coming out next month would be nice. Even if their revival requires ASB shenanigans to happen rather than adult humans making choices based on their own volition.

Even though I may have used terminology that was a bit off, my meaning was that all TV shows that have ended for whatever reason get rebooted by ASB.

'All Construction Machinery Becomes Caterpillar Yellow'. ...Well, for starters, Caterpillar itself will have a hell of a time suing the rest of the industry for what would ordinarily be a violation of its trademarked color scheme, when it's not their fault that this happened to all their equipment.

Well, then paint shops will be busy for a while, painting over many Construction Machinery's.

Well, then paint shops will be busy for a while, painting over many Construction Machinery's. So it would seem, though I do wonder how much it’d cost the other firms to repaint all of their machines with less IP-infringing colors and insignia. Once that mess is over, however, I guess things would go more or less back to normal—with the exception of the scientific community, political class and conspiracy theorists of the world speculating as to why on earth ASB would so do something so frivolous to begin with.
