'Martial Arts Becomes Completely Harmless'. By this, I mean that it inflicts no injuries whatsoever, specifically for anyone on the receiving end of it.

So people have to pretend that Martial Arts can hurt people while it for some reason is the only combat arts that you do not suffer any injuries from.

That said, I guess it's rather pointless to be making that kind of entertainment when the portrayed effectiveness of martial arts is so obviously fake that it weirds audiences out. So maybe you're right about no more Jackie Chan movies that, well, portray the guy doing what he does best.

'WI Super Smart People Could Modify The Laws Of Physics?' We bow to our new masters who are way smarter than us. If super smart people could change and manipulate the principles that the universe operates on in that way, then I'd be more than eager to work in hopes of becoming one of them. And the prospect of having that kind of power, as you just mentions, would be all the more reason to join their ranks.

What did Uncle Ben say to Peter Parker once: "with great power comes great responsibility"True. Unfortunately, even for those who start out acknowledging that once they first become smart enough to shape the laws of reality, some of them will eventually go mad with power. And sooner or later, tensions--and then conflict--will ensue. That wouldn't just be true with the general population attempting to rebel against their genius overlords (and probably ending up crushed since the latter can modify and redesign the workings of the universe to their liking. Your guns, RPGs, etcetera are useless since physics suddenly changes its mind and stops them from working). There'd also be infighting amongst the "ultra-brain" community not only because members would wind up competing for power, but also since there'd still be a few who still firmly believe in the power --> responsibility notion and fight to ensure that it stays that way. ...Man oh man, this turned into a dystopian nightmare TL real fast.

For one thing, Mr. Ed loses his uniqueness. For another, everyone freaks out.

Not only that but just because their very smart and powerful doesn't mean they will be wise and careful. Being able to change the laws of the universe gives great opportunity for some very fatal cock-ups. I know some scientists have said that only minimal changes to a single universal constant would totally destroy the universe as we know it, along with of course all life.
I remember reading a SF story a while back which suggested that any society which developed time travel will ultimately destroy itself as someone will - by accident or intent - change time so that that society never exists. I suspect in this case humanity would wipe itself out even more rapidly. Which also suggests that there is no such capacity as otherwise somewhere in the universe some other people would have come across it and already destroyed all life.
