Isn’t it in the gothic novels that only silver or wooden steaks can kill a vampire? However I do think that they can or should be allowed to be blown up by artillery guns provided they are fast enough to land on the vampires body to smithereens. Surely a vampire can be killed by flames because we have flame throwers and I think modern technology would stand a chance against them. I’m not sure about the Victorian age however

Just found this.
In Dracula, perhaps the most well known of gothic vampire novels, there was no limitation to silver or the stake, given that the eponymous main character copped it with Bowie knives.
Artillery isn’t of much use for personal defence or indeed off the battlefield, unless we have an infantry gun at the doorway to deal with salesman and the like.
There is nothing specific on fire being a specific vulnerability or lack thereof.
