I want the happy, cheerful KanColle back, this Movie is freaking depressing! Well so did i, but it seems the people who made the movie had other ideas. |

Yes, however I think the ending was to sci-fi and strange for KanColle. Also some of the crowd shots seemed to be there just to show popular characters (Ashigara and Atago were reduced from secondary characters to cameos) and Tenryuu ended up being both overused and underused. |

That irked me a bit as well, after having gotten used to her and Akagi being goofballs unless they were required to be serious it is a bit jarring to see them serious all the time. It is also a bit wierd that for an anime that featured Ooi and Kitakami as weekly lesbians, the Movie was pretty much devoid of yuri (unless you count Tatsuta doing gay stuff to Tenryuu just as the camera pans away from them to focus on the main trio). And there is still no Shigure, which is wierd since Harusama, Murasama and Shirayuki all got cameos. |

I have seen People argue that the anime should follow the historical Pacific War, which would have made it even more depressing due to characters often getting steamrolled or dying pointless deaths far from home. Dammit, Fusuo, get a room! |
