You know, With the trailers being so intend on making it seem like Fubuki is going to sink at the same place as she historically did, I actually think she is going to survive. There are three reasons for this theory: first is that Gualdcanal is acting as a red herring and the writers have already been used that trick before With Midway and Kaga, second is that the survival of the Kito Butai gives the fleet options it didn't have in WW2 (just imagine what would have happened at Gualdcanal if the Battle of Midway had been reversed). And Third is that sinking Bucky doesn't look like she is wearing her kai ni outfit so it might just be a dream about a possible future. |

I don't think the writers are going to be nice to a lot of character in this Movie with the number of them that historically got sunk in this Battle. The only ships I have a feeling are certainly going to survive are fan favourites Yuudachi, Tenryu and Nagato. |
