Bismarck opened her eyes to the light flowing in through the windows. Everything about her felt... new, like she had just been commissioned. Pushing herself up to a sitting position, Bismarck held one of her hand in front of her to examine it, twirling her fingers to get used to the sensation.

“This is unreal,” the blonde turned to see Tirpitz standing beside her. How she knew it was her sistership, considering she was sunk before Tirpitz was even commissioned, Bismarck could not explain. She just knew.

“You are telling me. The last thing I remember is being scuttled, yet here I am, as good as new.”

“The last thing I remember is those damned Allied bombers attacking me.” Tirpitz answered, adjusting the heavy wool coat she wore, “everything after that is a blur.”

“Battleships of Germany, risen again from the ashes of the past. Step out through the door and meet your country, who desperately needs your help in their hour of need,” a loudspeaker mounted on the wall suddenly announced, at the same time as the doors at the end of the room opened.

The two battleships walked out to an open square to be greeted by a mass of uniformed men and woman, snapping cameras everywhere and a chatter of German. Bismarck idly noted that she didn’t see the German flag anywhere, instead a red black yellow flag hung prominently from flagstangs placed around the square.

‘What do you think this is, sis?’ Tirpitz asked over the radio, ‘I don’t see any members of the party here, nor am I picking up anything on the Kriegsmarine channels.’

Bismarck shrugged, ‘I guess we just do like all the party officials did during important events and hope for the best.’



Angela Merkel facepalmed as she watched the supposed heroes of Germany perform the Nazi Greeting.


(Note: I do not support Nazism in any form, I just though it would be funny if Bismarck and Tirpitz maintained some of their Kriegsmarine mindsets to emberass the German leadership a bit.)
