Well that is strange, the YouTube clip is not available to be seen in my country.
Can you still see it oscssw , and if so give us a quick summary of how its achieved please? I know there was a collaborationist government formed in China but the people involved are supposed to have quickly realised that Japan had no intention of giving them any influence at all on how China was to be governed or any relaxation in the brutality of the occupation.
Pretty confusing video. Basically Chiang allies with Japan to wipe out Mao. The Japanese use the last Emperor as a figure head and he somehow gets the loyalty of Chiang's gang. US oil embargo ends. No attack on Pearl Harbor. No US Pacific war. Japanese Take all of Indo China, Burma, Dutch East Indies and part of India. Set up local Independence leader puppet governments in the former colonies. Japanese do not directly brutalize the conquered populations.
Nazi's make peace with the West and and give back France Belgian and Norway. Japanese troops invade Siberia. Russia is now in a two front war. Stalin falls and the Germans and Japanese take large portions Siberia and Russia. No US intervention in Europe.
Last scene is Atom bomb blast and commentary on US and Britain might use it.
As I said it is really confusing, to me at least.
I really don't think you folks are missing anything of importance by not seeing this video. |

I really don't think you folks are missing anything of importance by not seeing this video.
That does sound pretty erratic and unlikely. I can't see Chiang giving up power to Japan and if he did I suspect with nationalist feeling in China at the time and the behaviour of the Japanese he would probably have been couped by some of his generals. Think its pretty much impossible in itself. Unless you have a huge change in Japanese behaviour.
Also the other things seem unlikely as well. If Germany gives up France, Belgium and Norway that would be huge concessions, especially given how much loot they were getting from France especially. Plus if this happens in 1940 then its very unlikely that Japan can push south with any success. A Britain and even weakened France is going to take some losses initially but are going to be too powerful for Japan at this period, especially with China continually in unrest. Stalin's empire might fall to a German led alliance without western allies being involved but that's not going to be easy either.
