Thank you all very much. This is a truly humbling experience. Oh. Wait. It's not. I'm far from humble now, I'm proud of this amazing achievement and I'm very grateful for the encouragement I received from all of you. Congratulation to Commander Zyobot Thank you, thank you! I'm not completely sure how I did it, but somehow I made it to Commander in less than a year on the forum. Hopefully, I'll be able to keep the consistent posting up during the future; I can't wait to become a Captain (?) once I reach 2,000 posts here. |

Actually if Zyobot manages only 4 a day he would be pretty much there by the end of this year.  |

Probably Supreme Commander or Commander-in-Chief, if I were to take a stab at guessing. |

I probably do at least twice that most days, even ignoring the Off-Topic areas, but then you know how obsessed I am with my post count.  |

I think it would probably depend on the date as to what sort of forces a rear admiral commanded, plus of course other events. IIRC but could easily be wrong that the entire fleet would be under an Admiral's command with assorted squadrons in it being either rear or vice admirals. Mind you it also considers what naval system we're using as different nations, probably also at different time have different definitions. For instance see en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rear_admiral_(Royal_Navy), for the RN stance. According to that I would be the junior of the three ranks, commanding the less demanding rear of the line while the vice admiral commands the foremost units and the primary admiral in command would be in the centre. |
