I don't know if we have to worry about them becoming completely extinct right now. But I have read stuff about how bees are rather endangered--and that, unfortunately, we're not doing much to countermand that at the moment .

There are quite a lot of species facing extinction and probably a number disappearing as we speak. Bees get more attention because of their clear importance but a lot of smaller and more important ones are less noticed. Its not just global warming but other forms of habitat destruction, such as pollution, rain forest removal/fragmentation, plastic pollution etc.
We're never going to protect every species, especially considering there's a lot we don't even know about, but we are facing another mass extinction probability simply because of the ecological power humanity possesses and the fact we're unwilling to show real restraint in its use.

Their some of the big and prominent ones. There are a hell of a lot of smaller and less well known cases as well. Plus one fairly famous one you missed is the polar bear which is facing increasing problems with the disappearance of the Arctic ice cover. Not to mention probably some of the seals it preys on as they normally live and give birth on the ice cap IIRC.
We're going to see a lot of animals disappearing in the next few decades at least. Hopefully many will be saved but in the more important habitats such as the jungles and oceans there are still a lot we don't even know about.

The Japanese still continue their controversial whaling on cetaceans. Polar bears are in the risk of loosing their habitat.

Heard a bit about it on the news and unfortunately most of them are already dead so could be difficult to rescue the rest.

Perhaps the Texas blind salamander? It's only found in the caves of San Marcos, near Austin. It's not considered endangered at this point, though it is considered vulnerable (after all, any species that only exists on one very specific part of the world could be wiped out at any moment by a catastrophe that's local to that part of the world...)
