The two have had many encounters as he frequents the busy street of san Francisco and knowing she does what she says she will do quickly so he leaves.
The middle aged woman hands Emily a cup of soda and a cookie. a peanut butter .Emily wonders how she could of known that was her favorite.
Emily has recently turned 13 moved to s.f. from Chicago.to live with her aunt.
Once home she listens to her aunt talk with her uncle.
