Although not in 1968, i think whether 1972, 1976 or 1980, there would have been a RFK presidency at some point. What would it have been like? policies, foreign events, domestic events and etc.?

Yeah. The person who killed him is still alive i think. Yep, that would be Sirhan Sirhan, currently serving life in prison at Richard J. Donovan Correctional Facility in San Diego County, California. So if he was not present at the Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles, lets say a delay, then RFK would have lived and most likely become the second Kennedy to assume the office of President of the United States of America.

Any thoughts on how his administration would’ve been, lordroel? Based on what little I know of him, I wonder if RFK would somewhat mirror JFK at least in a stylistic sense. Policy-wise, I’d assume that his preoccupation with more left-wing social justice would translate to the legislation he enacts. Whether that’d be beneficial considering the debatable OTL record of similarly left-wing programs like the War on Poverty, I don’t know.

Think like this: What would the world look like if Robert Kennedy had lived? As quoted in the article: If Robert Kennedy had been elected president, he would have ended the war in Vietnam, expanded the war on poverty and extended America’s commitment to racial justice. In short, the America we live in today would be a vastly different place. But that is what the article says, i do not know what he would do, we can only guess.

I don't think that RFK would have ended the Vietnam War if elected in 1968. I think it would have been a case of doing 'my way' such as Nixon did. A '72, '76 or '80 RFK presidency would have been a traditional Cold War presidency as we saw from Democrats of the era.

If RFK wasn't killed, butterflies would easily see the whole incident with his brother done away with. Something else could easily occur though with that family and its general awfulness of those within it who sought political office.

Also i doubt Ted will run ore win any election, two Kennedy's is enough the American people will think.

The Kennedy men in particular always seemed to court dangerous situations and also have some terrible luck as well.

Even if RFK lives and takes office, I assume that conspiracy theories will surround him and the Kennedy line throughout his tenure? Knowing him and his family, I fear that something could happen to him while he’s POTUS.
